Garfield… March 14, 2009

…Is a cat. A cat who comes from, ummm, I think it’s Tanilba Bay, or something like that. A cat who has been mistreated by it’s previous owner’s neighbours.

It just so happens that they (her neighbours) had tried to strangle poor Gar-Gar, and was found with a rope tied around her frail, little neck. Another time, it turns out, what happend was, their neighbour had tied it’s back leg, 1 of her legs, to the washing-line.

Her [previous] owners are absolutly lovley, two little girls (5, 2) and their mother was born in the Phillipenes, and the father was from Oz I think. They were sad to say goodbye, but very glad that she wasn’t killed, and won’t be. They said that when the RSPCA called them, they got told that they were charged for animal cruelty. But when they picked her up, she was so happy to see them, they let the family off. The oldest girl drew a picture for Garfield. She stabbed little holes in the paper with a pencil, and said they were Garfield’s paw tracks.

She is every bit as cute as Coco and Cadbury, and mum hates her name, but I think we should keep it, it’s just fair. I think they said she will be two in June or July, and this one definetly is not a runt like the other two, because she is already a bit bigger than Cadbury (7 I think).

I really love her, she is sweet, but Cadbury has met her match!!!

My fun day! March 13, 2009

This morning at 1am I got woken up by a visitor. Oh no, not the drunken, drugged arwennawea type, but the meeoooow, scratch on the door, kitty-cat type. I patted it for a while, then i got tired and went back to sleep. In the morning, it was still there. I got ready for (dun,dun,dun) school and took her to the vet to get scanned (after I named her: Mishca (as in Barton)) and she got claimed.

When i got home, to my surprise, here was Mishca, only her name was’nt Mishca, it was Garfield. Her owners lived a good hour and a half away, but their kids would accidentally let her out, and their neighbours didn’t like animals, so the first time, they took Garfield to Newcastle, then some other place, now Cessnock.

Her owners asked if we would consider adopting her, so now, we have 3 cats. Oh but not without a fight, poor Coco isn’t liked, again, and Cadbury and Garfield: Well they were separated at birth. She hissed as soon as she saw Cadbury and Coco.

Tomorrow, her owners will come to say goodbye. It will be sad for them, but she is coming to a good home. She is a beautiful tabby. She hasn’t done much other than sleep, but after last night… Who could blame her!!!

I’m Back!!! August 29, 2008

Hello, sorry i havn’t written in a while. i have been soooooooo lazy!!! this is only a short post because im still tired from camp. We went to the Sucky Aussie Bush Camp i mean: the great aussie bush camp. I’ll ^date later.

A Night Without Much Sleep July 18, 2008

Yesterday I got back from my holiday from Jimmy’s Beach.

It took my best friend, Immy with us and we had a great time.

On Monday we got there at 2 o’clock to check in. Then Immy and I went for a ride on our scooter’s and then we went for a walk. We found a big sand hill and we walked up it to have a look at the view. We saw the water, Sparkling blue, leading a path over to Nelson Bay, Shoal Bay, and Big Beach, with the Dolphin Cruise: Moonshadow, sailing around the bays.

After we found another lookout higher than the last, the view was even better there, we felt the wind in our faces, we heard the sound of the waves rolling into the wet sand, and knew: We were about to have the perfect holiday. The water was to cold to have a swim then so we got into our swimmers and had a bubble fight in the hot, bubbly spa-bath that our Cabin had. We got in trouble off mum, but it was worth it. Then we played: Sing Star* on my PlayStation and we had dinner and got to bed.

We, Immy and I, got up early, 6:30 early, the next morning so we could see more things, we had some rice bubbles and left, The sand was freezing at 7:00 so we decided on Wednesday to wear socks, nice warm, Bed socks. So we went of playing and Immy ran off, only to discover a new, wind-free, sanctuary. She called out: ‘Help I’ve twisted my ankle’ to which I replied: ‘I highly doubt it’ but wen off to look for her all the same.

Now as I cant be botherd to wright any more, I will continue this later.
